A great passion for 3on3 basketball and for all playground/street basketball (streetball).
This is not unusual. The difference this time is that this passion comes not only from the basketball players, fond of playground challenges, but also from the people linked to basketball, such as coaches, executives, organizers, journalists, fans and enthusiasts who perceive this sport as having a specific identity and a clear autonomy.
In the past years, these people have joined together in the INTERNATIONAL 3ON3 BASKETBALL BOARD (3IBB3), legally organized as “Association”.
After having concluded the direct management of events, in 2010 the INTERNATIONAL 3ON3 BASKETBALL BOARD Association opened to all 3on3 basketball fans and more broadly to all playground and streetball enthusiasts in the world by creating this website.
The aim of this website is to exchange ideas, connect people, create collaborations, gather statistics and share information on what is happening in the sphere of “not classic” basketball. The focus is on 3on3 basketball played on half a regular court and one hoop, but all that is different from the traditional and institutional basketball played 5on5 is amazing.
To become an official member of the Association – therefore being enabled to operate within the whole website – please register.
The INTERNATIONAL 3ON3 BASKETBALL BOARD has been constituted and registered as “Association”, with headquarters in Via Ulloa 3/a (Us Acli), 30175 Venice, Italy.
Since 2007, the Association has been working to increase the worldwide network of contacts and collaborations in the field of playground/street basketball (streetball), with a special preference for 3on3 basketball.
The Association deals with the development and planning of international 3on3 and streetball events. Its aim is to be a community hub where views on the future of the movement can be exchanged.
The President of the Association is Mr. Fabio Massarutto, who in about 30 years has created and developed several basketball projects, events and activities.
In these last years he has mainly operated as a consultant for Organizations and Institutions all around the world.
The consulting ranges from technical rules and way of playing, to sports services, to business strategies, specifically in the analysis and carrying out of the following tasks:
